Hello, I am actually asking for my girlfriend. Her last period ended approximately on the 6th of September (23 days ago) and (we believe) had began around the 3rd (26 days ago). We had sex on September 18th (11 days ago). A condom was used, and there was never any unprotected contact. I checked the condom before and after sex for holes. Because she was unsure of the exact date of her last period, she believed that it was supposed to have happened this past Sunday, the (4 days ago) (before yesterday, we did not know that her last period lasted until the 6th). This caused both her and myself to start really stressing out about why she was not on her period yet. This evening, she went to the bathroom and told me that she saw spotting. I did not personally see what it was, so I am not sure of the details of it except that she said that it was a light brown, no pink. I cannot tell if she was quick to jump to conclusions due to stress and worry. I read online that experiencing spotting around the time of the next period s expected beginning is normal, especially if an excess amount of stress was encountered, and that pregnancy spotting happens *between* menstrual cycles. Can you please give me your take on this?
